Who we are
Altseat is made by Nexus SFT Limited and sold through our reseller Paddle.com. Nexus SFT Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under number 16569555, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
In these terms “we” means Nexus SFT Limited. They are the agreement between you and us for the Altseat app and its license keys, and the Supplier Agreement that Paddle's buyer terms refer to.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Altseat is an independent product, not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI or Moonshot AI. Claude Code, Codex CLI and Kimi Code, and the names Claude, Codex and Kimi, belong to their owners.
The license
Without a key, Altseat runs 2 accounts in total across Claude Code, Codex CLI and Kimi Code, with every feature, at no cost.
A license key raises that to 10 accounts per tool on one Mac. A key is for one Mac at a time, so buy one for each Mac you use; one purchase holds up to 10 keys. A key is paid once and includes every update of the 1.x line. If a 2.0 ever needs a new key, 1.x keys keep working with 1.x and get a reduced price.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use Altseat: the free version on any Mac you use, and the licensed version on one Mac at a time for each key. Altseat and its code stay ours. The license gives you the right to use them, not ownership of them.
Do not resell, share or publish your key. Do not copy Altseat for other people or redistribute it; point them to altseat.com instead. Do not reverse engineer, change or work around the license check.
Acceptable use
Altseat switches only between accounts you own and sign into with each vendor's own login. It never handles, forwards or stores vendor tokens for anyone else, does not share or proxy accounts, and follows each vendor's documented multi-account behaviour.
Use Altseat only with accounts you own, and keep to each vendor's own terms for them. Do not use it to share an account with other people or to run an account that belongs to someone else.
Third-party tools
Altseat works alongside Claude Code, Codex CLI and Kimi Code. Those tools, and the accounts you use with them, are governed by their vendors' own terms, and we do not control them. When a vendor changes its tool, a part of Altseat may stop working until we update it.
Activation and moving Macs
Pasting a key into the Accounts window activates it on that Mac. The app checks the key with altseat.com every 7 days and keeps working offline in between. Each activation and check sends the key, a one-way hash of the Mac's id, the Mac's name and the app version.
To move a key, deactivate it in the old Mac's Accounts window, then paste it into the new one. If the old Mac is lost or no longer starts, release the key from your account page instead, once every 24 hours per key.
Ending the license
We revoke a key that is refunded or charged back, and a key used against these terms. A revoked key stops working at the app's next check.
Altseat then goes back to the free version on that Mac, for 2 accounts in total. You can stop using Altseat at any time by deleting it.
Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase, no questions asked. Paddle issues it, and the key is revoked. The refund policy has the details.
Warranty and liability
Altseat is provided as is. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or that it keeps working with every future version of Claude Code, Codex CLI or Kimi Code.
Our total liability to you for anything to do with Altseat is limited to the price you paid for it. This does not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights the law gives you that cannot be limited. If you buy as a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country you live in, wherever that is.
Governing law
The law of England and Wales governs these terms, and the courts of England and Wales decide any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, you can also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
Whole agreement
These terms, the refund policy and Paddle's buyer terms for the sale itself are the whole agreement between you and us about Altseat. If a court finds a part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Changes
We may update these terms when Altseat or the law changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using Altseat after a change, the new terms apply.
